We deliver to Melbourne Metro only, 20km radius from CBD.
Our ready meals are delivered refrigerated (not frozen) packed in a sealed polystyrene insulated esky with ice packs. Your insulated package will keep your meals at the correct temperature for approx 4 hours unrefrigerated and out of direct sunlight.
Your order is packaged and kept refrigerated in our inner city kitchen and delivered straight to you by a reputable external courier service.
Due to the perishable nature of your order, we STRONGLY recommend that someone be available to receive your order and that it be refrigerated or frozen as soon as it is delivered to maintain freshness.
It is a good idea to provide a work address for your delivery, if you know you will not be home, to ensure your order is received and quality managed.
Orders are despatched daily - Monday to Friday - and delivered no later than 6pm on the same day. For deliveries to be made on these days, orders must be placed before 4pm on the previous business day.
If you require a more specific delivery time, please call us on 9384 6200 and we will try to accommodate, if possible.
We use a highly reputable external courier service, but occasional delays may be experienced from time to time, which are outside of our control. As such, we cannot guarantee earlier delivery times, but do our best to accommodate.
No deliveries on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays.
All orders must be paid in full prior to delivery.
The refrigerated shelf life of our meals ranges from 7 days to 21 days and up to 30 days, depending on the item. Each individual item is marked with a use by date. We recommend you freeze your item, if not consumed by the use by date. Please refer to the product label.
Some items, like biscuits, nut bars and grocery items have 30-60 days shelf life. Please refer to the use by or best before date on each individual item.
Yes (except for leafy salads and some desserts). We recommend freezing for up to 3 months. Please refer to the product label for storage instructions. You can also refer to the storage instructions for each product on our e-store.
Each individual meal has a label with heating instructions (both oven & microwave). Please follow these instructions. You can also refer to the heating instructions for each product on our e-store.

AUTHORITY TO LEAVE - (ATL): If it is likely that no-one will be at the place of delivery, and you are happy for the package to be left unattended for a short period of time, please request so in the “Special Delivery Instructions” section prior to check out.
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate delivery address details. You have the opportunity to list any specific or special delivery instructions in the “Special Delivery Instructions” section prior to checkout.
If you have not provided an Authority to Leave (ATL) please make sure someone is available to sign for receipt of your order at your nominated delivery address. If re-delivery is required, you will be charged the delivery fee x 3 - as this covers the trip there, back to our premises and then to the delivery address again. This is what the courier service will charge.
If the delivery drivers are unable to access the delivery area in a safe & manageable manner, orders will not be left. Where there is a possible danger to drivers through guard dogs, security features or otherwise, orders will not be left. If re-delivery is required, you will be charged the delivery fee x 3 - as this covers the trip there, back to our premises and then to the delivery address again. This is what the courier service will charge.
Orders can only be cancelled if they have not been despatched. If the order has been processed and a refund is required, a refund will be given minus bank charges.
Once an order has been despatched it cannot be cancelled and no refund will be given.
Orders cannot be returned once delivered, opened or consumed. Should you be unhappy with the products, please call us immediately on 9384 6200 and we will endeavour to resolve the issue for you as soon as possible.
Customers take full responsibility of all orders once they have been delivered, as per delivery instructions given. This includes deterioration or damage to orders once delivered.
Whilst we do not manage deliveries in-house, we are unable to pick up the poly box esky each time a delivery is made.
However, in the interests of recycling, please keep your poly box esky until you have 3 or more boxes and we can have them collected when we have a driver in the area. Please contact us when you have a few ready for collection.
As our operation grows, our plan is to put on our own fleet which will collect the poly box each time a delivery is made.
For those who do not wish to place any further orders, please re-use poly box esky or dispose of it at your discretion.
Yes! Absolutely! All customer credit card information is securely submitted and processed entirely with our bank via Eway a Secure Payment Gateway; vege2go staff cannot access, view, process or store sensitive cardholder data (such as credit card numbers, PIN codes or CCV codes). Credit card details are encrypted by the customer’s browser before they are sent to Secure Payment Gateway, and are never exposed in clear-text.
Vege2go will not display, sell or pass on any of your private information given. It is kept in strictest confidence and used only for the purpose of processing and delivering your order.
